Some statistics of AIIMS NOV'09 (After the 50% list)

These are the statistics we get after the release of the 50% list.
Well, it in no way matches the predictions everyone made that the
cutoff will be high. I was surprised by two facts though -


1. The topper did not clear 70%.

2. Much more people got 50% than expected.



Anyway, there are the statistics -

Total students who crossed 50% -- 3160

Topper – 69%

100th Rank – 62%

200th Rank – 60.5%

300th Rank – 59.5%

344th Rank (Last in the list) – 59.167%

500th Ranker – 57.833%

1000th Ranker – 55.333%

1500th Ranker – 53.667

2000th Ranker – 52.5%

2500th Ranker – 51.333%

3000th Ranker – 50.167%

3160th Ranker – 50%

Can u pls compare the present statistics with the previous years???
usually do the toppers attempt more than 190 in AIIMS???obviously more the number,more is the chance...
..it wud b much better if we cud get more details from those who made throuh..my close friend made through nov aiims with rank 34...took surgery..but left it...got 15 in AIPGME 2010?
